Skandinavisk KOTO Votive Candle: KOTO [KO-TO], The traditional Finnish word for home. A cosy refuge from the rugged climate, an intimate space to refresh the soul. This KOTO collection is a collaboration from SKANDINAVISK & Design Bloggers United and blends delicate notes of amber with exotic jasmine, mandarin and vanilla. No Place Like Home.
Skandinavisk Candles are made from a blend of perfume and vegetable wax with a 100% cotton wick and topped with an engraved beechwood lid. Each votive candle is hand-poured into a painted glass vessel and will burn for up to 16 hours. Designed in Denmark, assembled in France.
Candle Care
First Burn
- Allow wax to melt to the full edge of the vessel before extinguishing
- Burn for at least 2 hours on first use
- This prevents tunneling and sets the candle's memory
Every Burn
- Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each lighting
- Never burn longer than 4 hours at a time
- Keep away from drafts, vents, and moving air
When Not in Use
- Replace the lid or cover to protect from dust
- Store away from direct sunlight — UV fades fragrance and finish
- Discontinue use when ¼ inch of wax remains at the bottom
