Mad et Len Black Afghan Candle is white face and khol, varnished black nails. Wafts of hypnotic and cosmic vapors as the malang shaman swirls to the sounding tambourine and whirls in ecstasy. With notes of frozen pine, crystallized amber and old burned wood.
Mad et Len Candles are an ode to earthly elements, housed in one-of-a-kind blackened iron vessels complete with snuff lid, forged by the their own blacksmiths using ancient methods & handmade in a remote mountain village in the French Alps. Poured in small batches, with essential oils of undiluted flowers, woods and spices.
Candle Care
First Burn
- Allow wax to melt to the full edge of the vessel before extinguishing
- Burn for at least 2 hours on first use
- This prevents tunneling and sets the candle's memory
Every Burn
- Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each lighting
- Never burn longer than 4 hours at a time
- Keep away from drafts, vents, and moving air
When Not in Use
- Replace the lid or cover to protect from dust
- Store away from direct sunlight — UV fades fragrance and finish
- Discontinue use when ¼ inch of wax remains at the bottom
