I spent twenty-three years comparing every major santal candle from every house I have carried. Le Labo Santal 26 is leather and cocoa wearing sandalwood. Santal 33 is the same idea, smokier. Diptyque Santal leans creamy and powdery. Every house has its angle. I built Santal Accord because I wanted the reference point, not another interpretation of one.
