Baobab Encre de Chine Max10 Candle is chinese ink; a prestigious and unique material, made more desirable by the mystery that surrounds its ancestral recipe. Admired by artists and philosophers, it is a material often attributed to calligraphy, as its intense black marks its surface permanently.
Heavily woody, the Encre de Chine scent combines sandalwood and vetiver into what resembles hints of smoke. It is a scent that evokes scenes of wild landscapes full of mystery, defined by tradition.
Just like the baobabs overlooking the African savannah, Baobab Collection’s candles and diffusers, made of either hand-blown glass or metal upholstered in precious leather, are known for their size and original designs. Baobab Collection candles are hand-poured into glass that is hand-blown by master craftsmen, making each one completely unique. Candle Care
- Allow wax to melt to the full edge of the vessel before extinguishing
- Burn for at least 2 hours on first use
- This prevents tunneling and sets the candle's memory
- Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each lighting
- Never burn longer than 4 hours at a time
- Keep away from drafts, vents, and moving air
- Replace the lid or cover to protect from dust
- Store away from direct sunlight — UV fades fragrance and finish
- Discontinue use when ¼ inch of wax remains at the bottom
