Diptyque Figuier Very Large 5 Wick Candle 1500g (Fig Tree): A holistic take on fig, not only the fruit, but an endless orchard of vibrant trees stretching along the shoreline. Woody and warm, green and bright, bark, sap and leaves blend elegantly with almost-ripe figs. A composition inspired by the fragrance of the wind in a fruit garden with the summer sun at its peak.
This hand-made earthenware vessel was chosen for its rustic look & touch, contains 5 wicks and takes no fewer than 9 distinct operations to complete. Burn these candles for 3-4 hours at a time. Candle fragrance is equivalent to burning 2 standard candles at the same time.
Candle Care
First Burn
- Allow wax to melt to the full edge of the vessel before extinguishing
- Burn for at least 2 hours on first use
- This prevents tunneling and sets the candle's memory
Every Burn
- Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each lighting
- Never burn longer than 4 hours at a time
- Keep away from drafts, vents, and moving air
When Not in Use
- Replace the lid or cover to protect from dust
- Store away from direct sunlight — UV fades fragrance and finish
- Discontinue use when ¼ inch of wax remains at the bottom
