About Bodewell Home Candles
"What differentiates our product? We use only all natural, non toxic, food grade, non GMO coconut wax blend to make our candles. We use lead free cotton wicks. Our products are safe. For you, for your children, for your environment. Now that says something about product integrity.
We manufacture locally, we want to know WHO, WHAT, WHERE and HOW our candles are being produced. We make frequent trips to the site. We chat with the folks hand pouring our wax. We know their faces. We know their names. We are all about quality control.
We work with Light 4 Life Cause. We work with them because we are mothers. Because we have 5 children between us. We work with them because we recognize that ALL people deserve an opportunity to experience pride in the workplace, fair wages, and safe working conditions.

Light A Candle, Create A Job, Empower A Person With Disabilities
Light 4 Life Cause is a more than just a manufacturing house. Through a unique partnership with Exceptional Children's Foundation, we are able to create beauty and opportunity. For adults living with a disability, finding meaningful work is often very challenging. The individuals with developmental disabilities who participate with Light 4 Life Cause are trained by Light 4 Life Cause staff in the art of hand-crafted candle making. They also receive personalized coaching from ECF staff on both professional and life skills development. This integrated workplace training shows participants the way to greater independence while increasing their self-confidence, self-esteem and financial security.
