“To me, Red Hot was all about emulating the lingering emotions that come as the night fades, reminiscent of a fire quietly fading. On top, I used incense, black pepper, and ginger zest to create a warm, vibrant first impression, while the resinous quality of guaiac wood and labdanum creates a deep, smoky embrace. Raspberry and rose absolute bring a soft delicacy, leading into the woody, rich back of cedarwood, tonka bean, and vanilla. I used papyrus to add a final smoky touch, truly like the embers of a fire slowly burning.” -
