Each fragrance is highly complex and sophisticated. Santuario di Bellezza candles are topped off with handmade, handpolished solid brass lids, featuring the Santuario di Bellezza candles logo.
Santuario di Bellezza candles uses palm wax, which is environmentally friendly as it is a renewable source of fuel. It burns longer and cleaner and has a beautiful crystallizing quality that is a perfect complement to the crystal containers. Palm wax is simply pressed and distilled from palm kernels like essential oils; soy and paraffin uses the petroleum chemical Hexane for its extraction purposes. Unlike soy, Palm wax do not have a limited shelf life. High fragrance concentration of complex bouquets give these candles incredible throw. Higher melting point makes it easy to ship in the summer to hot climates. Santuario di Bellezza uses 100% pure cotton wick imported from Germany.
Each piece of the traditional style is also hand blown twice to achieve richness of color and quality, but this time 24% lead is added. This in turn makes the crystal softer, easier to cut and much more brilliant. It is expertly hand cut, engraved, polished and finished by hand. These highly skilled craftsmen are oftentimes referred to as athletes as they use a lot of physical strength, breath control and dexterity to produce each piece of crystal. The art of making crystal is truly one of the last great handmade traditions of the world. There are fewer and fewer factories left in Europe that can still uphold this grand tradition.
